Dr Rathi Sasitharan MBBS DCH FRACGP
Dr Sasitharan graduated from India in 2004, and has over 10 years of experience in the field of general medicine from overseas and Australia. Dr Sasitharan has been working in Canberra, Goulburn and Yass for the past seven years. Her main interests are in women’s health, paediatrics, mental health and chronic diseases management. Dr Sasitharan also does minor procedures including mole excisions (except face and neck).
Dr Shaheen Ashraf MBBS FRACGP
Dr Ashraf has been practicing as a General Practitioner in Australia since 2004. Before his current role, he worked as a Medical Officer at Mersey Community Hospital in Tasmania.

Dr Shaikh Wahab General Practitioner
Dr Shaikh Wahab graduated from Dhaka University in Bangladesh in 1991, and has been practising as a GP in Australia since 2011. He previously worked as a Registrar in Mental Health in The Canberra Hospital for 6 years, and also worked as a Medical Officer in Bangladesh and New Zealand before coming to Australia. His special interests include general medicine, paediatrics, and men’s health. Dr Wahab is also interested in chronic disease management, mental health, women’s health including antenatal care, and occupational health including work-related injuries. Dr Wahab also enjoys travelling, cricket, community and multicultural activities.
Dr Raya Al Suhel General Practitioner
MBChB, DCH , DRANZCOG ADV, FRCGP
Dr Raya is a General Practitioner with additional qualifications, including an Advanced Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and a Child Health Diploma. Dr Raya initially trained as an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, and has worked within this field for a number of years across Australia before deciding on a change of direction towards general practice. She is non-delivering GP obstetrician and has interest in providing holistic medical care. Dr Raya speaks English and Arabic. Her areas of interest are minor procedures, preventative medicine, antenatal share care, sexual and reproductive health, women’s health, child and adolescent health, and menopause.
Dr Dan Corkery MBBS FRACGP
Dr Dan Corkery completed a Bachelors of Information Technology before getting his MBBS from University of Sydney in 2006. Dr Corkery relocated from Townsville to Canberra, and has worked extensively in the emergency medicine, pre-hospital and trauma fields. His professional interests include sports medicine, veteran’s health and paediatrics.

Jacqueline Bampton Accredited Practising Dietitian
Jacqui Bampton holds a Bachelor of Human Nutrition and a Masters of Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Canberra. She is an Accredited Practising Dietitian with Dietitians Australia. Her professional interests include geriatrics, mental health and oncology, and she has experience within community dietetics, alongside organisations such as Nutrition Australia. Jacqui is experienced with weight management, Type 2 Diabetes and other chronic diseases.
Thabile Twala Psychologist
Thabile Twala is a Registered Psychologist who graduated with a Bachelor of Psychology from Curtin University, WA and a Masters in Applied Psychotherapy and Counselling from Torrens University, SA. Thabile is a Certified Counsellor in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Forensic Dialectical Behaviour Therapy Counsellor (NEA, Melbourne). Thabile participates with Psychological intervention and psychotherapy at the Alexander Maconochie Centre and provides clinical input to the Aboriginal Health Community service in Winnunga. Thabile has been working in this field since 2004, and in addition to psychotherapy and counselling she provides training in personal development. She enjoys all areas of the psychological discipline, with special interests including personality disorders, developmental stages, coaching parenting skills, personal growth and development for both individual and organisation referrals. She sees patient 18 years and over only, and no longer sees DVA patients but will continue treatment for her current DVA patients.
